Mission & Impact
Romeo Community Housing Initiative Foundation develops sustainable, energy-efficient affordable housing communities using innovative financing models — creating pathways to homeownership across Colorado.
Each Romeo community is master-planned to balance density, dignity, and shared services. We integrate on-site wraparound programs — childcare, youth services, family support, workforce development, wellness, and community commerce — ensuring that housing is paired with the support families need to stabilize, grow, and thrive.
Leadership
Nathaniel Fell
Founder & Executive Director
Nathaniel is a disabled Black founder and community developer with over three decades of lived experience in housing, disability inclusion, and racial justice work. A father of three and widowed in 2024, Nathaniel brings both professional expertise and profound personal commitment to Romeo's mission of building whole communities rooted in dignity, accessibility, and long-term stability for working families.

Each Romeo community is built to the same principles:

Each community spans 40–80 acres for housing, services, and green infrastructure.
Housing
100–220 homes
Modular homes for working families earning 30–100% AMI.
Lot Size
~1/4-acre lots
Yard space, light, and air — far beyond typical multi-family standards.
Services Hub
3-acre center
Recreation, healthcare, education, and commerce anchoring the community.
On-site: 20+ offices, 10+ flex spaces, 100% renewable energy, integrated wraparound services.
