A clear path from foundation to first community

We believe funders deserve to see exactly where we are and where we're headed. Here is our honest, milestone-by-milestone plan to break ground on our first sustainable, affordable community by 2027–2028.

From Pueblo to Nationwide

A short look at the journey ahead: Section 8 voucher-ready homes, starting in Pueblo, expanding across rural Colorado, and going nationwide.

Foundation Established

  • 501(c)(3) nonprofit status effective February 2026
  • EIN, UEI, and SAM.gov registration on file
  • Founding documents and governance in place
2026–2027In progress

Capacity & Partnerships

  • Raising working capital and building grant readiness
  • Recruiting an advisory board across key disciplines
  • Cultivating landowner, funder, and developer relationships
  • Focusing our first Section 8-based community in the Pueblo, Colorado area

Land & Design

  • Acquire 80–100 acres for the first community
  • Engineering, site design, and master planning
  • Permitting and entitlement with local jurisdictions
  • Secure development capital and construction financing

Breaking Ground

  • Infrastructure: roads, utilities, and renewable systems
  • Construction of the first energy-efficient homes
  • Begin the shared community and recreation campus

Families Home & Growing

  • Welcome the first families into stable, affordable homes
  • Launch learning, wellness, and family-support programs
  • Refine the model and expand into the next 10–20 rural areas, prioritized by where Section 8 voucher need is greatest
