Founder and Executive Director

Nathaniel Jerome Romeo Fell III is a disabled Black entrepreneur and social innovator with 16 years of hands-on construction experience and 8 years of specialized tile work expertise. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and now based in Denver, Colorado, Nathaniel has built his life on practical craftsmanship, faith, and a deep understanding of what it takes for a family to hold together.
At 50 years old, Nathaniel is a devoted father who is raising his children in Denver. He brings lived experience with housing insecurity, family stability challenges, and the quiet resilience it takes to keep going through profound loss. In recent years he has grieved the passing of his wife, Amber, in 2024, his mother in 2025, and one of his closest friends that same year — losses that could have broken him, but instead deepened his resolve to build something lasting for other families.
Nathaniel is guided by a personal philosophy of higher-vibration living — a commitment to positive energy, mindfulness, holistic wellness, and treating people and the earth with care. That outlook runs straight through the foundation's vision: communities designed not just to shelter families, but to help them heal, grow, and thrive.

Family is the reason Romeo Foundation exists. Through every loss and every long day, Nathaniel has continued to show up as a father — raising his children with love, structure, and hope for a better future.
Their well-being is the measure Nathaniel holds every decision against: would this help a family like his own find stability, dignity, and a place to truly call home?
Nathaniel founded Romeo Community Housing Initiative Foundation because he understands what families need. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, has lived the uncertainty of housing instability, and has carried his family through disability, single parenthood, and the grief of losing his wife, his mother, and his best friend in back-to-back years.
Rather than let that loss define him, Nathaniel chose to turn pain into purpose. His mission is straightforward: build sustainable, affordable housing communities that actually support families — not just provide roofs, but create the foundations for stability, health, opportunity, and dignity.
Every aspect of Romeo Foundation's work reflects Nathaniel's commitment and his higher-vibration outlook: sustainable design reduces long-term costs so families keep more of their income. Community programs address holistic needs beyond housing. Economic opportunity pathways help families build wealth and stability. And family support services acknowledge that housing is most powerful when embedded in communities that genuinely care.
