Transparency & Accountability

Who we are, on the record

We are an early-stage nonprofit, and we believe trust is earned by being honest about exactly where we stand. Here are our legal status, our federal registrations, how we are governed, and our promises about how we handle money.

Our honesty commitment. We have not yet acquired land, built homes, or secured construction financing. Every community, unit count, acreage figure, and timeline you see on this website is an aspirational planning goal — not completed work, and not a guarantee. We will update this page as real milestones are reached.

Legal status & federal registrations

Our federal registrations are on file and verifiable. These are the identifiers a grant officer, donor, or partner can use to confirm we are a real, registered nonprofit entity.

Governance

The Foundation was founded by Nathaniel Jerome Romeo Fell III and is governed by its board of directors. As an early-stage organization we are still building out our board, advisory network, and formal committees. We are committed to establishing sound governance practices — conflict-of-interest policies, board oversight of spending, and clear roles — as we grow. You can learn more about our leadership on the founder and team pages.

How we handle money

We are pre-revenue and largely volunteer-run. We take stewardship of every dollar seriously, and we make these commitments:

  • Donations support the Foundation’s charitable mission — building capacity toward affordable, voucher-ready housing and family-support programs.
  • The small administrative fees we collect (waitlist and application fees) are clearly disclosed in our Fee & Refund Policy and offset the real cost of processing submissions.
  • We will publish financial summaries and, once required, our IRS Form 990, as the organization matures and begins to raise and spend funds at scale.
  • We will never overstate our finances, our assets, or our progress to raise money.
